Sam's Club's 4.5-Pound Apple Pie Is Ready For Your Next Picnic

The only way to make a good old fashioned apple pie better is to make it bigger. Want proof? Sam’s Club’s 4.5 pound Member's Mark Apple Lattice Pie just won a blue ribbon at the 25th annual National Pie Championship hosted by the American Pie Council—that’s a pretty BIG accomplishment, if you ask us.

This whopper has more than its size going for it: The filling is made with Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Fuji apples, depending on the season. That’s right, you won’t find any mealy Red Delicious duds in this pie.

And did we mention that it’s dirt cheap? One pie feeds 16 people and will only set you back about $9.

We’re proud of our 25 years fostering America’s love affair with pie and can’t wait to see what our bakers cook up over the next 25 years!”
