Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary to host spring sale in Tyler

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is hosting their annual spring sale Friday and Saturday.

Salvation Army announced that the sale will take place on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary buildings at 715 N. Spring Ave.

According to a release, the sale will include a wide variety of items and all of the proceeds will benefit the ongoing programs of the Salvation Army of Tyler. The Women’s Auxiliary said that there will be designer clothes, handbags, jewelry, shoes, furniture, toys, bikes, tools, books and more available at the sale.

“The Women’s Auxiliary members are tremendous supporters of The Salvation Army here in Tyler and [the Women’s Auxiliary] are truly the army behind the Army. They’ve got three buildings full of merchandise ready for the Spring Sale and we hope to sell it all!” Michelle Walker, captain and commanding officer of The Salvation Army of Tyler, said. “I know the ladies have been working hard in preparation for the event, and we invite everyone to come out and shop until you drop. All proceeds go directly back into supporting The Salvation Army of Tyler’s year-round programs that provide hope, help and support to so many in our community.”
