I knew I had to watch Saltburn the moment I saw a TikTok of Barry Keoghan dancing naked to “Murder on the Dancefloor”. This psychological thriller/comedy will take you on a wild ride, so you might wonder which Saltburn character captures your zodiac sign.

It’s no secret that Saltburn has garnered attention for its jaw-dropping scenes. Between the amazing soundtrack and unnerving undertone, it can be challenging to decipher the symbolism of Saltburn. But once you get past the artistic direction, you’ll find that Saltburn illustrates two themes—obsession and classism. What starts as a harmless crush and desire for friendship, Oliver’s feelings become more extreme when he realizes he cannot have Felix. Oliver’s obsession intensifies with each passing scene as Oliver tries to consume Felix’s lifestyle. As this unfolds, the classist undertone becomes increasingly obvious. What starts as snide comments at Oxford eventually leads to awkward scenes, like the egg scene, that show how poorly Oliver fits into this aristocratic world. Despite the overwhelming exclusivity and dangerous mania, Oliver is determined to possess what the Cattons have.

Here’s the Saltburn Character That Captures Each Zodiac Sign

Who would you be if Felix invited you to spend the summer at Saltburn? Keep reading to see which Saltburn character you are based on your sun sign, moon sign, and/or rising sign:

Aries: You’re Annabel

Although Annabel is a minor character, she does leave a lasting impression. True to her Aries disposition, Annabel comes across as impulsive and passionate. Her Aries energy initially shines when Annabel explicitly tells Felix that nobody likes hanging around Oliver. Annabel’s candidness is admirable since she appears to be one of the few individuals who aren’t afraid to be honest with Felix. Aside from her directness, Annabel also has a strong sexual energy. Between having a casual relationship with Felix and impulsively hooking up with Oliver, Annabel’s desire for carnal connection exemplifies Aries’ passion.

Taurus: You’re Pamela

Complimented for her sense of style and passive-aggressively remarked as dull, Pamela captures the spirit of Taurus. Unlike the Catton’s old money, traditional attire, Pamela’s fashion choices have a more modern, edgier look. Even Elspeth comments on how stylish Pamela is, which truly exemplifies the Venusian Taurus energy. However, Pamela’s rather boring personality also tracks with the less exciting qualities of Taurus since this earth sign isn’t usually rambunctious or mysterious. Despite it all, Pamela remains a tried and true friend to Elspeth even though Elspeth doesn’t genuinely reciprocate Pamela’s friendship.

Gemini: You’re Farleigh Start

Of all the Saltburn characters, Farleigh is arguably the most changeable. Like the two sides of Gemini, Farleigh lives a double life—one at Oxford as part of the prestigious Catton family and one as an American who hails from a less-than-luxurious lifestyle. Despite living the double life, Farleigh’s mutable personality and quick wit allow him to adapt, thus keeping him afloat in the Catton family’s affluent world. However, Farleigh’s adaptability only carries him so far since his sass and trickery lead to his eventual downfall, especially after toying with Oliver one too many times.

Cancer: You’re Lady Elspeth Catton

Family comes first for a Cancer. So, it shouldn’t be any surprise that the Catton family matriarch, Elspeth, mirrors the crab’s qualities and attributes. Like the cardinal water sign, Elspeth is the first to initiate. From warmly welcoming Oliver into her family and estate to planning his birthday party, it’s obvious that Elspeth takes her maternal role very seriously. Despite appearing caring and nurturing, Elspeth continues with her passive-aggressive comments in a roundabout manner. Despite wanting to come across as deep, Elspeth does capture Cancer’s side-stepping, indirect qualities.

Leo: You’re Venetia Catton

Leo always shines the brightest as the star of the show since this fun fire sign is well-known for their playful energy and fabulousness. While all of the Saltburn characters are undoubtedly iconic, Venetia Catton is the only one who truly illuminates the lioness spirit. Venetia captivates the audience in every scene for her sensuality and glamor. Even if she’s not dazzling us with her beauty, Venetia’s strong demeanor and unyielding loyalty to her family demand attention. Of all her moments, Venetia’s most expressive, dramatic Leo-like energy shines in her bathtub scene when she compares Oliver to a moth.

Virgo: You’re Duncan

Nothing slips by Virgo’s watchful eye, or Duncan’s for that matter. As the primary butler at Saltburn, Duncan oversees everything for the Catton family. From the first time Duncan appears on screen, it’s obvious that this fastidious butler notices everything that’s off about Oliver. Like a fly on the wall, Duncan is often pictured off to the side of the scenes as if shrewdly noting Oliver’s mistakes and missteps. Despite his attention to detail, Duncan hesitates to address his suspicions about Oliver. Perhaps this is due to Duncan exemplifying the Virgoan trait of analysis paralysis.

Libra: You’re Professor Ware

Even though Professor Ware plays a minor role, he does illuminate Libra’s peaceful, if socially superficial traits. His Libra characteristics shine when Oliver is prompt and prepared for the tutoring session, yet Professor Ware chooses to wait for Farleigh. Professor Ware’s fairness suggests that he knows how to balance Oxford’s social hierarchy. However, once Farleigh reveals who his mother is, Professor Ware subtly switches sides since he would rather be linked to an affluent Oxford student like Farleigh than a student with an unremarkable background like Oliver.

Scorpio: You’re Oliver ‘Ollie’ Quick

From the jump, Oliver’s opening monologue about his intense desire and obsession for Felix screams Scorpio. In true Scorpionic fashion, Oliver sneakily strategizes a way to pursue Felix and the life that Felix lives. Oliver’s intensely dark, sexual energy drives him to covet Felix, like drinking Felix’s bathwater and even causing Felix’s death. Although Felix is undoubtedly Oliver’s main fixation, Oliver also creates sexual entanglements with Venetia and Farleigh. But since Oliver can neither have nor consume the Cattons, he launches a long-term plan of vengeance to take what they have—Saltburn.

Sagittarius: You’re Lady Daphne

You can count on Sagittarius to always keep it real. This Jupiterian-ruled fire sign is upfront about its opinions, which is why Lady Daphne best illustrates Sagittarius’s energy. Lady Daphne only appears on screen for a few moments, but her forward commentary on Oliver’s lack of manners leaves a lasting impression. Lady Daphne is quick to correct Oliver on everything, from talking to her first to his remark on her marriage. Her bluntness could be perceived as brutal, but in reality, Lady Daphne is likely the only member of this affluent society to be so honest with Oliver.

Capricorn: You’re Sir James Catton

No matter the situation, Capricorn always keeps it under control by initiating structure and authority. As the Catton family patriarch, Sir James perfectly captures what it means to be a Capricorn in high society. Two scenes perfectly illustrate Sir James’ Capricornian energy. The first is the breakfast scene following the discovery of Felix dead in the hedge maze where Sir James orders everyone to continue following the mealtime protocol. The second is when Sir James offers Oliver money to leave Saltburn, likely trying to rid himself of a problem while saving face to maintain the Catton’s reputation.

Aquarius: You’re Michael Gavey

Aquarius is undoubtedly the funkiest zodiac sign, making this air sign undeniably intelligent and occasionally socially awkward. None other than Michael Gavey truly captures the zany Aquarius spirit. Michael’s initially written off since he’s a friendless Maths genius who takes his studies very seriously. Despite being an oddball, Michael appears to be a loyal friend to Oliver by spending time with him and even bringing Oliver food to the library. However, Michael does let on that he knows more about the social hierarchies at Oxford when he confronts Oliver about being ditched for Felix.

Pisces: You’re Felix Catton

A dreamy, magical aura surrounds compassionate Pisces since this water sign is well-loved for its kindness and easygoing presence. Like Pisces, Felix is loved by all for his charm, attractiveness, and fun-loving personality. While Felix initially comes across as a womanizing partier, his softer side shines throughout the movie. In true Pisces fashion, Felix’s profound empathy shines throughout the movie. From helping Oliver grieve his dad’s death at Oxford to bringing Oliver to Saltburn for the summer, it’s evident that Felix cares very deeply for Oliver even though it ultimately leads to his demise.
