Salma Hayek's Latest Bikini Photo Was Taken by Her 16-Year-Old Daughter Valentina

For any teen, taking photos of your mom in a bathing suit would prove to be an embarrassing task. But when your mom is Salma Hayek, the undisputed queen of the bikini, it's practically an honor.
On Sunday, Hayek, 57, uploaded a new swimwear snap to her grid on Instagram and revealed the special someone behind the lens: her 16-year-old daughter, Valentina. "It always helps to have a photographer in the family," Hayek wrote in the caption of the beachside shot, before adding her daughter's credentials to the post, "📸 Valentina Pinault." In the photo, the actress was caught in a candid moment, adjusting her black two-piece suit, which included a bandeau-style top and matching bottoms that tied on each side.
Hayek accessorized with black sunglasses and a gold bangle on one wrist, while her dark brunette hair was styled in pigtails.

Since becoming a teenager, Valentina has been joining her mom in front of the camera more and more. Back in 2022, the mother-daughter duo sat front row at Balenciaga's Paris Fashion Week show, and the following year, they made several red carpet appearances together — including at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where Valentina wore a red strapless Isaac Mizrahi gown first worn by her mom in 1997.
"In this house we fight over clothes because she takes everything from my closet. Then I don't find anything," Hayek previously told Vogue Mexico about Valentina raiding her closet, to which the teen responded: "The truth is that when it comes to clothes, I love hers, but in general I always wear what I like. I hardly pay attention to the brand."
