Salma Hayek Reveals 'Magic Mike' Scene 'Nearly Killed' Her

The steamy scene almost went south very quickly.

Salma Hayek says Channing Tatum almost killed her while the two were filming a steamy scene for Magic Mike's Last Dance.

The actress, 56, recalled the scary incident during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she referred to the lap dance scene as "challenging," explaining that she was almost injured and even going as far as saying she was "nearly killed."

“You know, this one part that’s not in it where I’m upside down, and my legs had to be somewhere. But upside down, one loses sense of direction, and I didn’t do what I was supposed to do, so in the rehearsal, I went like, head down, almost hit my head,” Hayek revealed while chatting with Jimmy Kimmel on the late-night talk show.

“He [Tatum] held on to my pants, but I was really concerned because my pants were going away, and I couldn’t remember if I had underwear or not in this moment. So, instead of putting my hands to protect my head, I just held onto the pants. He’s like, ‘Put your hands up,’ and I’m like, ‘No, no, no, no'" she hilariously recalled, adding, “Everybody came in, and kind of took me away from him, and he said, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ I said, ‘What’s wrong with me? You nearly killed me!'”

Kimmel went on to ask the actress if she's ever received a lap dance before from a male dancer, to which she responded, "not really, no." Kimmel added, "Channing really knows how to do it."

"I mean if you're gonna start somewhere why not Channing," Hayek quipped before adding that she "deserved it." 

"I had to play the stripper in so many movies before, and now I got to sit down and enjoy it," she said.

Even though Tatum, 42, almost injured the actress, she still had some nice things to say about him. Hayek spoke with People at the premiere of the film last week where she opened up about shooting some of the sexy scenes and what it was like working with Tatum.

"The steamy scenes were challenging, fun, and technical," she said. "It scared me at first, but Channing [Tatum] is great to work with. He is patient and has a great sense of humor."
