Salma Hayek Is Reportedly Playing Matchmaker For Angelina Jolie

Salma Hayek, 57, has been married to François-Henri Pinault, 61, for almost 15 years (she and the French business mogul tied the knot in Paris in 2009, and had a vow renewal in Bora Bora nine years later) so she knows a thing or two about long-term relationships. The Frida actress has reportedly taken it upon herself to put her romance skills to good use and play matchmaker for her good friend Angelina Jolie, who has struggled in the relationship department for most of her life.

The House of Gucci star reportedly wants to help her friend find love, but also to find a great father figure for her six children, who she shares with estranged ex, Brad Pitt. According to reports, the Magic Mike's Last Dance actress reportedly has her sights and heart set on the 48-year-old Oscar-winning actress mirroring her own love story and finding a billionaire. Not just any billionaire, of course, but one who can handle one of the biggest A-listers in the world! No pressure, then!

"Following Angie's disastrous relationships with actors, including her crash-and-burn marriages with Brad Pitt and Billy Bob Thornton, Salma thinks it's time for Angie to try something new," an insider told the National Enquirer, in reference to the Maleficent actress's previous marriage to Thornton, which lasted from May 2000 to May 2003, and her marriage to Pitt, which officially lasted from August 2014 to April 2019.

"She's got her eye on a few eligible businessmen who would know how to handle dating one of the world's most famous women and is hard at work trying to set up Angie with dates," the source continued. "Not only are Salma and Angie best friends, they also know each other's children. Salma doesn't just want to see Angie with a great man. She also wants to see Angie's children with a great father."

The source added: "Salma is very protective of Angie and her kids. She knows how hard it has been for them to deal with the divorce and the media attention. She wants Angie to find someone who can make her smile again and be a positive influence in her life."
