Salma Hayek Just Shared a New Bikini Pic for Her 55th Birthday

Salma Hayek is celebrating her 55th birthday in paradise.

The House of Gucci actress shared an Instagram pic of herself wearing a swimsuit over the weekend, following what's become a birthday tradition for the star. This year, Hayek opted for a cerulean-blue halter-top one-piece, which she sported while standing just offshore, on a tropical beach.

"Happy 55th birthday to me 💃🏻 looking forward to new adventures #grateful," Hayek captioned the post.

The Frida star shared another selfie from her vacation destination last week; it shows her posing poolside in purple cat-eye sunglasses and a blue button-down shirt near some overwater villas.

On a June episode of Red Table Talk, Hayek shared her secret to aging gracefully. She said that a woman's age should not be considered a limitation.

"There's no expiration dates for women. That has to go. Because you can kick ass at any age. You can hold your own at any age, you can dream at any age, you can be romantic at age," she said.

She continued, "We have the right to be loved for who we are at the place that we are. We're not just here to make babies, we're not just here to baby the man. We're not just here to service everything and everyone around us and then when the kids go away … it's almost like expiration date for you as a woman. It's a misunderstanding that has been going around for centuries."
