Salma Hayek is in her mermaid era!
The House of Gucci star is taking a break from her sunbathing sessions to frolic in the ocean blue, and she's totally embodying Ariel while doing so.
In a new photo uploaded to Instagram over the weekend, Hayek stood in a braced position in shallow waters, her one-piece swimsuit perfectly matching the color of the water surrounding her. Her hair, visibly drenched, lay in perfect waves, dripping from the tips down the length of her arms. She clutched her sunglasses securely in one hand and was seemingly calling out to someone out of frame—we can practically hear her asking excitedly, "Did you see that?!"
We all know how hard it can be to get our hair to cooperate with us—especially when wet—but somehow submerging herself in the salty depths of the sea led the actress to what we're confidently dubbing an excellent hair day.
"Every now and then, your hair decides to cooperate when you least expect or when you least needed [sic]," she wrote alongside the snap in both English and Spanish, adding the hashtag, "#goodhairday."
Hayek has been living her best life in and around the water of late, assumedly on an extended visit to Mexico, and fans can't get enough of the content coming out of it.
"Definition of goddess," one declared in the comments.
"Okay, definitely on your mermaid vibe, love ittt❤️," another wrote.
"Ooh Tiffany blue Ocean..gorgeous figure..beautiful hair," a third complimented, while plenty of others left series of fire or heart-eyed emojis.
