Salma Hayek Celebrates Her Daughter Valentina’s Sweet 16: ‘My Heart Is Bursting With Love’

Salma Hayek is one proud mama. She’s celebrating her daughter Valentina’s sweet 16 with a heartfelt tribute, and the most adorable throwback photos and videos.

“Today my baby turns 16 and my heart is bursting with love, pride and gratitude for the day you were born,” Hayek wrote on an Instagram video set to Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere.” “Keep shining your beautiful light shamelessly my lovely girl, even if it blinds the fools.”

The Magic Mike’s Last Dance star continued, “For those of us fortunate enough to have you in our lives, thank you for making us stronger with your courage. For filling our lives with laughter and joy with your wicked wit. For challenging us to grow with your depth. And for inspiring us with your soulfulness every day.”

She then wished Valentina, who she shares with husband François-Henri Pinault, a happy birthday. “May this be the sweetest year yet! ♥️” she added.

There’s tons of throwback clips of the little girl smiling with her mom throughout the years, going to Disneyland, dancing, exploring, cuddling, and eating birthday cake. There’s even a picture of her meeting Taylor Swift!

Zoe Saldana commented on the sweet post, “Happy birthday Valentina hermosa y bendecida!!! Te queremos mucho chiquita.”

The Frida star and her daughter have made many appearances together throughout the years. During Gucci’s Milan Fashion Show in Feb. 2023, her daughter showed up with a shockingly blonde new hairdo, which she also had at the 95^th Annual Academy Awards. She is almost as tall as her mom now and looks just as glamorous.

Hayek’s video reminds us how much Valentina has grown up, and we love to see that their bond is as strong as ever!
