Salma Hayek Bares Fresh Face in Vacation Bikini Snaps

Salma Hayek looks like she's having a great summer vacation, sharing envy-inducing pictures of the sunny getaway.
After about eight weeks of no updates on Instagram, Hayek posted a bare-faced bikini pic on Sunday, Aug. 14.
In the picture, Hayek sported a pink bathing suit and trendy hat, lounging in what looked to be a vacation home or resort.
Hayek captioned the picture, "Happy Sunday!!! 😎. Feliz domingo!!!! 😘. #sundayvibes #nomakeup."
The next day, Hayek revealed the beautiful view outside her tropical accommodations with a new bikini pic showing the 55-year-old leaning on a fence in a black swimsuit, striped shawl, hat, and sunglasses.
Behind her, you can see shining blue water, a palm tree, and more lush landscape.
The second photo was captioned, "Ready for the week. Lista para la semana. #monday."
Both photos got a lot of love from people on Instagram.
Actress Kerry Washington commented on the second picture with a single fire emoji, while author, model, and wellness expert Nikki Sharp wrote under the post, "Gorgeous lovely ❤️."
It's possible that Hayek is just on a random relaxing vacation, or she might be celebrating her upcoming 56th birthday on Sept. 2.
The Bliss actress spoke about working out and gaining confidence while wearing bikinis early last year.
She told Entertainment Tonight that in 2020, "I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year," per PEOPLE.
She continued, discussing all the bathing suit photos she took and subsequently posted on her social media account, saying, "I'm glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it because it was the first week of the vacation."
One of the Instagram bikini captures in question showed the actress in a magenta two-piece and coverup.
The caption read, "Last days of 2020. Never been more grateful for being healthy and in contact with nature."
It looks like Hayek still has that positive outlook in 2022!
