Salem restaurants, bars and food carts offering Super Bowl 2024 specials and watch parties
Super Bowl Sunday is almost here, and as fans gear up to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas, Salem restaurants will have food and libations to celebrate the day.
Whether you are watching from home or tuning in at a bar or restaurant, here are the places around Salem offering watch parties or takeout specials.
Salem bars hosting Super Bowl watch parties
Corner Pocket Bar & Grill: Corner Pocket Bar & Grill will be hosting a Super Bowl watch party combined with a Latin dance party. The dance party after the game will go from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more details, check out the Facebook event page. 2653 Commercial St. SE.
Heroes Tap House Bar & Grill: The watch party begins at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The bar is offering football pool and various specials including inexpensive cocktails, $1 off draft beers, $5 nachos, $5 wimpy sliders baskets, $8 deep fried platters and $10 wing baskets. Honky Tonk Bar and Grill: The bar and grill will host a watch party starting at 11 a.m. It will have specials all day and a Square Game (a football betting game), with game entry $5 per person, winner takes all. For more event details, check out the Facebook event page. 2275 McGilchrist St. SE.
J's Teriyaki & Sushi: J's Teriyaki & Sushi is having all day "Teriyaki Bowl" specials for the Super Bowl, including happy hour pricing on draft beers and fountain drinks and bowl dishes. Chicken bowls will be $12, spicy chicken for $10, beef bowls for $13, spicy beef bowls for $14 and spicy tofu bowls for $10. Order ahead of time by calling 503-540-5669. Mykie's Bar & Lounge: Mykie's Bar & Lounge is offering a nacho bar and reduced pricing on various foods for Super Bowl Sunday. In addition to the nacho bar, there will be $1 wings and $10 pizza. The bar is also offering beer pitchers and jello shots. If you stop into the bar at 10 a.m., the bar is also offering its first all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with bloody mary and mimosa flights before the game. 155 Liberty St. NE, Suite 130.
Noble's Tavern: Noble's Tavern is hosting a barbecue-themed potluck. Sign up with one of the bartenders to contribute or pay to participate in the potluck. The potluck will begin at 3 p.m. For more info, inquire at the bar. 1747 Center St. NE.

3lephant Noodle Shack: The Laotian and Mien food truck is offering most of their menu options for Super Bowl Sunday. Call ahead to choose from salt and pepper shrimp or crab, chicken wings (with or without wing tips), Lao papaya salad, fish laab and more. Adam's Rib Smoke House: Adam's Rib Smoke House is offering Super Bowl party specials available for preorder. Specials include pound of wings for $12, pound of riblets and rack of ribs for $25. Larger specials include the pit master platter for $50 and includes a pound of wings, riblets, Kielbasa sausage and rack of pork ribs. Nanay's Ba-Hi: Nanay's Ba-Hi is offering Super Bowl Sunday platters available for preorder until 5 p.m. Friday. Platters include bang bang crispy shrimp, chili garlic crispy chicken, chicken adobo drumsticks, pork and beef lumpia, Spam musubi bites, pork asado siopao (Filipino pork steamed buns) for $65. Redline Birrieria: Redline Birrieria's Lancaster Drive Northeast location is offering party boxes. Party boxes include 50 tacos, two 32 ounces of rice and two 32 ounces of beans for $80. Taco meats are able to be mixed and matched, with options including asada, adobada, carnitas, chorizo, chicken and birria.
