There's no doubt the holiday season is Mariah Carey's season (and she knows it) but this year, Elton John's Christmas Party album from 2005 might just become a little more popular. For the first time ever, Saks Fifth Avenue has partnered with The Elton John AIDS Foundation for its famous holiday windows and light show, which will feel distinctly different than those of the past.

If you find yourself walking down Fifth Avenue after the windows unveiling on November 22nd at 7PM EST, you'll hear Elton John's "Step Into Christmas" as you approach the historic Saks building. His Christmas music will be integrated into the reimagined Saks holiday light show, and if you stick around for the entire show you'll also hear "Cold Heart PNAU Remix," Your Song, and Merry Christmas.

Elton John has also worked with Saks to co-curate three dedicated windows on 50th street with holiday looks from an edited collection, featuring pieces by Gucci, Versace, Valentino, and more. Another first: the windows will illuminate from within, lighting up in conjunction with the music during the light show.

Saks is also making a $1 million donation to The Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Rocket Fund in support of its mission to end AIDS, including $500,000 of proceeds from the curated collection—regardless of sales. although it's hard to imagine not wanting to shop immediately after witnessing the most distinctive window display and light show the store has done in years. As Sir Elton John said himself in "Step Into Christmas," "It's nice to have you here / I'd like to sing about all the things / Your eyes and mind can see." This season, the song takes on new meaning as it plays for thousands of shoppers, looking at the sparkly things in Saks's windows and experiencing the unmatched magic of the legendary department store around the holidays.
