'Makes watching shows at the table so much headier!': This tablet holder is just $8

What is it?

One reason we love a tablet? It's the perfect watch-stuff-while-you're-doing-other-stuff device. Monitor the morning news while making the kids' lunches. Get caught up on The Golden Bachelor while compiling your holiday-gift list. Give yourself a manicure while taking in a TED talk. You get the idea. Problem is, you need a way to keep your device upright, right? Enter the Saiji Adjustable Tablet Holder. It's only $8 for Prime members and makes it easy to prop up anything from an iPad Pro to a Nintendo Switch.

Adjustable to two different heights, you can use this tablet stand in both horizontal and vertical configurations.

Why is this a good deal?

This tablet is only $10, so even at full price it's something of a no-brainer — but if you're a Prime member (and you ought to be), you can get it for just $8 — only $2 more than the lowest price on record.

Why do I need this?

This tablet holder is designed to work with a wide range of devices — basically, anything 12.9 inches or smaller. That includes something as compact as your phone, or the smallest-size Kindle (although the Saiji does support a maximum thickness of just over half an inch). You can adjust the viewing angles, too — perfect for when you're scarfing down a meal and want to catch up on your favorite show.

The stand is also anti-scratch, so you don't have to worry about dinging up your devices. The stand has a low center of gravity, too, which means it's unlikely to topple over on you. Hitting the road? Just fold it up and toss it in your bag.

It's like a chaise lounge for your (otherwise) handheld electronics ... but you'll be the one resting easier while you multitask.

What reviewers say

Amazon shoppers love their devices — and 6,000 rave about this gadget to help them get the most out of their tablets.

"What a cool and useful item!" shared a five-star fan. "We love this stand! It makes watching shows at the table so much headier!"

"I use it daily," one fan said. "This props up my phone for easy watching and I always pack it in my carry-on for airplane travel so I can read without having to hop on my phone for hours. This is the second one I've purchased and I love them."

"I use this outside at my table when the weather is nice, and it's perfect for tabletop usage. The two heights are handy, also. Very stable," echoed another.

One user did warn about the thickness of certain devices: "I bought this tablet for my son to be able to use his iPad for Zoom classes. It’s super stable, holds a standard-size iPad without a problem, has a textured back so things don’t slip off too easily. The only downside is if you have a thicker, rugged case you’ll generally need to take it out of the case first, but if you have a standard case then it’s not a problem."

We're giving big "props" to the way this can keep virtually any device upright — an iPhone, Kindle, Galaxy, Switch, you name it.
