Saie’s New Mascara Makes My Stubby Lashes Look *Much* Longer Than They Are
Ever since I tried Mascara 101 about a month ago, my old go-to Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara (RIP) has been relegated to the bottom of my makeup bag in favor of this gem. It lengthens, separates and curls like no other—and I say that from true experience. I’ve tried dozens of mascaras, drugstore and prestige brands alike, but none have ever made my lashes look like this.
After swiping on two coats of this bad boy, it looks like I just curled my lashes and got lash extensions (I didn’t). Saie’s unique formula, which is infused with beeswax, shea butter and a special mineral complex to condition lashes is the ideal intersection of wet and dry. It glides on with ease and never flakes, but is still strong enough to keep my lashes held in place. And this stuff doesn’t smudge, even after walking through a rainstorm.
Also, it smells amazing. I know that’s a weird thing to say about a mascara, but it’s just true, OK? It has a light floral fragrance, which is something I never knew I needed from an eyelash product.
Another thing that I delight in is the fact that Mascara 101 is clean and cruelty-free. Like all products from Saie, it’s made from 100 percent naturally derived ingredients and is free from additives and parabens, which makes me feel like I’m actually putting something healthy on my lashes for once. TBH, after noticing how soft and conditioned my lashes feel after using Mascara 101, I wish I’d made the switch to clean mascara a lot sooner.
