Safilo Taps Jan Cory as VP of North American Sales
Safilo Group has tapped Jan Cory as vice president of North American sales for department stores and internet pure-play channels, effective immediately.
Cory comes to the Italian eyewear manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience. She was formerly president and chief executive officer of Silhouette international as well as a VP of sales at EssilorLuxottica. In her new role she reports to Vittorio Verdun, Safilo Group president of North America.

Cory has served as a past member of The Vision Council‘s Program Committee and has held board positions with the Accessories Council and The Salvation Army. She is currently the co-chair of the membership committee of the Optical Women’s Association, serving on the organization’s board of directors.
“I am thrilled to join Safilo during this exciting time of development and I am particularly happy to be back on the department stores side of the business with such a talented team,” said Cory via a statement.
