Sad Shelter Cat Who's Waited Over a Year for Loving Home Is Breaking Hearts
There has to be the right family out there for her.
Loving animals from across the globe are in search of loving families to call their very own, and Lovely the senior cat is no exception. The precious old gal has been at the Australian Animal Protection Society in Melbourne, Australia since January 2022, but she deserves to spend her golden years in a home rather than a shelter.
This kitty has seen 5 homes throughout her life after her original owner passed away, but she's still a gentle and trusting old girl. Now, @aaps_victoria is reaching out to their TikTok viewers in hopes of finding this cat her forever home.

What a precious kitty! We can't believe she was surrendered back to the shelter in less than a week for meowing too much. Like commenter @liz_rickards said, "returned because she meowed too much!? She just has so much to say and share." Exactly! This wise old gal has so many stories to tell--she just needs to find someone willing to listen!

I will give him love and the best care for the rest of his life." That's what we love to hear! Every pet deserves top-notch care, but it's especially meaningful to hear about rescued pets getting the adoration they deserve.
We sure hope Lovely is the next shelter pet to get her Happily Ever After! TikTok has done wonders for helping animals find homes in the past, so we'll keep our fingers crossed that the same thing happens for this beautiful kitty.
