Sacha Baron Cohen, the star of the classic black comedy films Ali G Indahouse, The Dictator, Borat, and Brüno is reportedly appearing in the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart as the powerful demon Mephisto. The various reports are confirmed by Cosmic Circus Editor-in-Chief, Lizzie Hill, who believes Cohen will be playing the dark lord who many fans have surmised has been plotting behind-the-scenes in multiple Marvel Studios Disney+ series including WandaVision, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

However, when asked about the hints, WandaVision, filmmaker Jac Schaeffer revealed that she never had Mephisto in mind when putting together the series. "He wasn't ever part of our storytelling conversations. We were very clear that the big bad is grief. And then the external bad is Agatha. So as a viewer and as a lover of the show and the characters, I didn't want anything more than that," said Schaeffer. Time will tell whether Cohen will in fact appear in the series.

In the meantime, below is a synopsis of Ironheart starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams.

Instead of playing with toys and watching TV like other kids, Riri spends her childhood building advanced machines. She's labeled a kid genius, and by the time she's 11, Riri becomes a student at MIT, where she gathers materials around campus to build an Iron Man suit of her own. Sounds impressive, right?

Ironheart is set to premiere in Fall 2023 on Disney+. Stay tuned for more details.
