Sabrina Carpenter Stuns in Cut-Out Beaded Gown at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards

The black carpet outside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey rolled out for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards and the biggest stars and influencers arrived in the hottest and most glamorous fashions. Marking her return to the iconic night in music event is the one and only Sabrina Carpenter.
The “Because I Liked a Boy” singer slayed the red carpet in a retro-inspired, cut-out sequin flower dress designed by Moschino. The black sequined dress features eye-popping sequin flowers, each in a different rainbow hue. But the most show-stopping part of the look dress has to be the daring cut-outs. A vertical teardrop slit at the chest and two side cut-outs give the halter neck dress some 🎶Body-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody-ody 🎶, as well as some playfulness (this is the same event that saw Lady Gaga's meat dress, after all). The 'fit perfectly marries the ‘70s and '80s with groovy florals and heavy beading. Sabrina is truly a glittery, glam gal in this fitted gown.
For her hair, Sabrina stuck with the vintage vibes, having soft blonde hair styled into waves. Her curtain bangs flipped out à la Farrah Fawcett. The simple black headband pulls the whole look together, tying in the color of the dress. Her makeup look was a smokey cat eye and berry-hued, with a touch of highlighter and blush dusting her cheeks.
With a fashion sense and voice so killer, Sabrina can seriously do no wrong. Though she’s not nominated tonight, we have our fingers crossed that she will be next year.
