Ryan Seacrest is back for another iconic stint on the red carpet, and honestly no celeb is safe! Ryan gets dragged on Twitter during almost every award show, bless his heart, and to be fair his job is hard. But fans pointed out a slightly awkward moment between him and Sofia Vergara on the Golden Globes red carpet. Namely, when he straight-up lied about how much he loves following her on Instagram.

During their chat, Ryan told Sofia “my favorite sport is following you on Instagram because it’s so fun. We follow each other....” But um, if you head over to his Instagram account you'll see he doesn't follow her (at least at the time this article was published!) and she doesn't follow him either sooooooooo.

I mean, maybe he just forgot that they do not follow each other even a little?! But on top of this moment, Ryan ended his interview somewhat frantically by musing "It's all fake, we're in Hollywood, it's all a facade! More of a facade! Nothing! More! More of the facade after this!"

Honestly, the Golden Globes are already the best part of 2020 and Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet is a gift we don't deserve.
