Ryan Seacrest Announces Breakup With Shayna Taylor, His Girlfriend of 8 Years, After Being Seen With New Woman
Ryan Seacrest announced the end of his eight-year on-off relationship with 28-year-old chef Shayna Taylor...just as paparazzi photographs of him on vacation with a new woman were published. Seacrest's rep said in a statement to E! that "Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago. They remain good friends, each other's biggest supporters and will always cherish their time together as a couple."
Seacrest and Taylor were still together as recently as May 2020. On his show Live With Kelly and Ryan, Seacrest spoke about their history. "I just want to say, happy third anniversary to Shayna," he said, according to E!. "It is our third time together. So we've gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up. This is number three of being together. So we're celebrating as well."
"It's an 8-year run, but it's our third run together," Seacrest said. "So we celebrate each trial."
Daily Mail ran photos of Seacrest in Cabo San Lucas with a blonde woman that were taken last week. (Cabo is coincidentally where Timothée Chalamet and Eiza González debuted their new romance last week, too!) Seacrest and the woman appear holding hands in one shot and lounging in swimwear.
E! got detail on Seacrest's vacation and the woman he's with. Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and California's recommendation that people avoid non-essential travel, Seacrest flew with friends on a private jet to Cabo last weekend to get away. "He spent the whole time with his new lady at their private villa," a source told E!. "Ryan looked relaxed and was able to just sit and chat. He didn't have his phone or computer around and was very attentive and always having deep conversations with his new girl."
The source described their getaway as "romantic," adding that Seacrest left with the new woman.
