Blake Lively's birthday and a trolling session are practically synonymous in her husband Ryan Reynold's eyes. The Proposal actor rarely misses the chance to take a playful jab at his wife on social media, and this year is no different. But he did do it in a much more subtle way than usual — so much so that you might've missed it.

On Wednesday, the Gossip Girl alum celebrated her 34th birthday, and Reynolds celebrated ... something a little different. The Deadpool actor shared a TikTok earlier this week of himself jamming out to Mariah Carey's famous 1995 smash hit "Fantasy," which is also featured in his new film Free Guy. And when the singer heard about this TikTok, she decided to duet his original post.

Reynolds shared Carey's post to his IG story, and trolled his wife in the process in the most low-key way that if you blinked, you might have missed it. "My favorite thing that's ever happened on August 25th," he captioned the story, teasing that this TikTok took precedence over his wife's birthday.

Earlier this week, Lively celebrated the big 3-4 early with a cute Instagram story that showed her twirling in a teal Teuta Matoshi gown with a tulle skirt and corset bodice, adorned with little red cherries. She paired the look with red Christian Louboutin loafers.

She also rang in her birthday yesterday in the most philanthropic way, donating $10,000 to Haiti relief efforts following the catastrophic 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck earlier this month. The organization Hope for Haiti posted a sweet thank you note to Instagram, thanking the couple for their generous donation.

"Our entire organization would like to thank @vancityreynolds and @blakelively for their generous donation to our #HaitiEarthquake Response & Recovery efforts," their Instagram read. "This donation will help empower our team to continue to respond in the hardest-hit areas of southern Haiti in the days and weeks to come."
