Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have chosen not to share their fourth child's name or gender yet, but Reynolds was willing to talk a little with Entertainment Tonight Canada about what life as a father of four is like.

He joked of his kids, including three older daughters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3, “I haven’t met any of them yet, but they seem great. They have a private Instagram account that I follow.”

He added more seriously of his experience expanding his family and taking care of four children with Lively, “You know, two to three was a huge jump… three to four less so. I cannot speak for my wife, but it’s just from what I’ve observed. But, we love it. You know, we would be idiots to do this again if we didn’t love it.”

When asked if he's always wanted a big family, Reynolds said, “Yeah, I come from four, Blake comes from five. Both of us are the youngest.”

Lively and Reynolds subtly announced their fourth child's birth during the Super Bowl when Lively posted an Instagram of herself no longer visibly pregnant. “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023🥘 🍲 🥧 been busy,” she wrote on February 12.

She shared vacation photos of herself on April 7, which included shots of her in multiple bikinis with her and Reynolds' mothers. The couple has made a point to protect their children's privacy and do not share photos of them. “She sells seashells down by the seashore,” Lively captioned that gallery.
