After years of waiting, fans will finally get to see Deadpool 3 as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The hit film series was initially part of the successful X-Men film franchise. When Disney purchased 20th Century Fox, however, Marvel Studios gained control of the character. For unexplainable reasons, Marvel Studios decided to wait three years to give the film a firm release date. Will Deadpool 3 have Wolverine?
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have confirmed that Jackman's Wolverine will appear in Deadpool 3. Based on the two actors' statements, it appears that Wolverine will play a major role in the film.

What year is Deadpool 3 set in?
