Ryan Reynolds has been out doing press for his holiday film Spirited, and he hasn’t shied away from questions about his hopes for his and Blake Lively’s fourth child, with whom she’s currently pregnant, and the couple’s relationship with Taylor Swift. Taylor famously shared the name of their third daughter, Betty, on her album Folklore with their blessing.

While Us Weekly reported in September that the couple wanted to have a baby boy this time, Ryan actually told the Today show that he’s hoping for another daughter. Blake and Ryan are currently parents to three girls: James, 7, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3. Us’s source said in September, “They are hoping for a boy this time around. But of course, they just want a healthy baby, no matter the gender.”

Ryan himself told Today, “I don’t know [the sex of the baby], we never find out till [they’re born]. I know girls, so I’m kind of hoping that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.” He added that he grew up as the youngest of four boys. “We were just arsonists and firemen,” he said of himself and his brothers.

Ryan spoke on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show about Taylor, meanwhile, and how obsessed his daughters are with her music.

“It’s like a, that’s like a religion in our house. Yeah, no, they were…they were extremely…in fact, I’m not making this up. We are having a Taylor Swift Midnights dance party in, uh, right after this. It’s Sunday,” he said. “We’re headed straight to the porch, where we’re doing a full dance number set to Midnights…swear words included. My favorite thing is when a…when a 3-year-old [Betty] is just throwing down the F-bomb in a song. Has no idea that that’s…yeah. But no, it’s…I think what’s most exciting for them is that for the longest time, they just thought Taylor’s just a, you know, like an aunt, like a friend of Mommy and Daddy that’s very, very close, almost family. And then they went to a concert one day and were like, ‘Oh, oh, this isn’t a hobby.’”
