JARED QUAY: You had the names of different cereals etched on your wedges. What's that about?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I got Frosted Flakes, Cap'n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cocoa Puffs. Yeah, I always put food. Food is like--

JARED QUAY: You left out--

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Food is my life.

JARED QUAY: Did you leave off Fruity Pebbles? You left off Fruity Pebbles?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: No. No, I don't want Fruity Pebbles on there.

[GRUNTS ANGRILY]

No, don't even talk about that with me.

JARED QUAY: What's up here, everybody? I'm here with PGA Tour golfer, Collin Morikawa. How you doing, Collin?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I'm doing great. Thanks for having me.

JARED QUAY: Your win in San Francisco on Sunday made you the youngest player with three wins on the PGA Tour, and the third youngest championship winner ever. How have the past few days been for you?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: It's awesome. I mean, the company that I've been in-- good being compared to Tiger, Jack Nicklaus, Rory, Spieth-- whatever it is, it really means you're doing something right. And that just proves that everything I've done so far has put me on the right path. So we just want to keep going up from there. You never know what the limit's gonna be.

JARED QUAY: We saw a clip of you afterwards where you kind of almost fumbled the trophy.

[CROWD CHEERING]

- Oh!

- Oh, boy.

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Thank you for making that so kind. It definitely fell. It definitely fell on the ground. And I've seen all the memes already. I'm sure there's gonna be more.

JARED QUAY: The FedEx Cup playoffs on the PGA Tour start next week. And after your big win, you're second in the standings right now. How we liking our chances to get that end-of-the-season bonus?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Yeah. No, it's very nice. I know what you're talking about. That winner receives a nice payday at the end of the day. But yeah, there's a lot of work. It's three weeks, and it's a long 3 weeks. It's gonna be a grind starting in Boston, then Chicago, and then Atlanta.

But I can't get ahead of myself. Just like I can't get ahead of myself after winning this week for other tournaments. I've gotta to focus for next week in Boston. But that's the goal. That's the goal in three weeks time is to come out that champion. We've put ourselves in a good spot to at least give it a run.

JARED QUAY: A little more sports news, especially since you're a Cal guy. Yesterday, the Big Ten and the Pac-12 suspended their athletic program for the whole fall. What does this mean for the athletes and their families? How do you feel about this?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: It's tough. I stayed in college for four years because being a student-athlete is one of the best experiences. My girlfriend Kat went through it. It is awesome. There's nothing like being a student-athlete. And we just want to play sports. Being around a team is like a brotherhood. It's like a sisterhood. It's family.

- (ALL SINGING) We are family.

JARED QUAY: So you were born and raised in LA. And I heard-- the word is that you're a Dodgers fan.

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Oh, yeah. I grew up a Dodgers fan. I grew up a Lakers fan. My mom went to USC. So pretty much I was a Trojan fan my entire life. LA is still my home. San Francisco is my second home. Now I'm in Vegas. We've got a third home now.

JARED QUAY: You just keep expanding. Other news within the baseball world is that Astros hitting coach was suspended 20 games yesterday after inciting a brawl over the weekend. As a Dodgers fan, are you finally happy to see the Astros get somebody suspended?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: You're never happy to see anyone get suspended. Obviously what they went through was just crazy. But man, I feel for my man Joe Kelly. I want to go spend a day with that guy. 'Cause that guy seems like the coolest dude in the world. Like, he doesn't care what anyone thinks. He is doing his own thing. He is running his own line.

JARED QUAY: Well, now for the lesser of two evils. The Astros and the Giants finish a three-game set tonight. Who are you rooting for?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I don't care. I could care less.

JARED QUAY: All right, now let's get to this really cool person that you have as a girlfriend, Katherine. I heard she's a golfer too. And I mean, after this win you might be on par with her. You get the golfing title now that you've won now? Do you get to be that for a little bit?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I get the golfing title when she's not playing. And then when we're playing, she's normally winning. She's taking a few shots off me. We'll play until she's got a nice lead and then we'll end it there, wherever that may be.

But she's awesome. I'm so thankful to have her. She understands the game. She understands sports. She could easily beat me at tennis, I'll tell you that. I want to get better. But she's pretty freaking good at that.

JARED QUAY: You have the names of different cereals etched on your wedges.

No, don't even talk about that with me.

JARED QUAY: Oh!

COLLIN MORIKAWA: I need some recommendations for what to put on my new one. I've got a new one that's just blank. And I have no clue what to put on it. I really do need suggestions.

JARED QUAY: All right. Well, look here. When you're watching this episode of "The Rush," please go on our Twitter and help us find a suggestion to put on Collin's new wedge. We would love all the advice we can get. We're gonna help you with this. All right, Collin?

COLLIN MORIKAWA: Thank you. Thank you. I'm waiting. I'm waiting. It needs some stamping. So please help me out for sure.
