The Rush: King James vs Kevin Durant Game 3 duel is a doozy

Warriors v. Cavaliers Game 3 was a case of good news and bad news for fans of both teams. Okay, so it was mostly bad news for the Cavs, who find themselves in a 3-0 hole…and primarily good news for the Warriors, who won on the road despite Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shooting a combined 7-27 from the field. Yikes!

Even with a triple double from LeBron James and double figure scoring for Kevin Love, J.R. Smith and Rodney Hood, the home team still couldn’t find a way to win. Now the Cavs face a 3-0 series deficit, and the worst news of all is that no team has ever overcome that deficit in the Finals to win a championship.

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert wasn’t a happy camper, as he bashed the refs on Twitter, pulling the old “tweet and delete” move. The referees opened themselves up to scrutiny by hosting a watch party and live-tweeting the game from their official Twitter account. #RefWatchParty was lit…just check their mentions.
