Running of the Chihuahuas at the Wharf is back for 12th year

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The 12th annual Running of the Chihuahuas is coming back to the Wharf Sunday.

The free event will take place at 101 District Square in Southwest on Sunday, May 19, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. It features the iconic Chihuahua race along with a Pacifico Beer Garden, an adoptable pet parade and more.

Attendees will be able to enjoy live music that will be blasting from the District Pier — anyone over 21 can also grab a drink or cocktail.
