Running has given me a more healthy lifestyle, more self esteem, and strength. It’s become a focus to center myself and stay balanced.

I absolutely love the articles. Education creates awareness that leads to improvement. Plus I like seeing what gear other runners like. I’m always looking for new products.

It’s all about control. And I run at 4:50 AM. No one needs anything from you at that time. I set the pace. The expectations are my own. It sets the tone of my day.

In my little town, outside, all year long. 80 degrees above zero and -15 degrees below zero are my limits. Up and down the bluffs and on windy country roads.

It’s a tie between my Garmin 4s and my Aftershokz headphones. I never run without either one.

I ran my first official marathon this year. Virtually. I knew it would be very difficult without the support found during traditional races. My husband, who hasn’t ridden a bike in 35 years, bought a used bike the day before my race. He fixed it up, loaded up a backpack with water and supplies, and rode the entire distance while I ran. That’s love.

To run a marathon in four hours. And to run for years as long as my body allows it!
