Running has changed my life significantly. It’s has been humbling yet empowering. It has taught me that I am more resilient than I thought. Just when I think I can’t go any further, guess what, I can and will go much further. I’ve set a goal to run 1000 miles this year (2019) which seemed impossible but I’m only 131 miles from this goal.

I am an ambassador for a local running organization and do many charity runs that support military veterans. Running is therapeutic and very much meditation for me as well.

I’m very much a morning runner but sometimes a good lunchtime run is great! Lately I’ve been running in the afternoons since I get to work super early.

I love a good trail run but typically I run through my neighborhood. The B&A trail is a gorgeous trail and the Ohio Canal tow path in DC is so peaceful. Occasionally I will run a treadmill but not very often.

I honestly don’t think I have a favorite but the Lululemon Speed Tight is my go to for running. I feel like they were made for me....much like all their clothes. I love the fit of the speed tights and the many pockets to stash my keys, gels, and ID.
