Running has helped me truly understand what it means to earn something. You can’t microwave results, so it’s been a lot of fun finding joy in the process. All those little pieces add up.

I was tired of that paywall, haha.

Seeing results and knowing that if I invest in something, even if they’re just small things here and there, that the fruit will come. I feel like I’m just scratching the surface on that potential, and what it could be.

I got hooked running miles with Brooklyn Track Club, so I’m at home on the West Side Highway, East River Track, and Red Hook in New York City. Home is now San Francisco, so I’m getting the most out of these hills. I miss my Brooklyn teammates—I’ve traded one famous bridge for another.

It’s gotta be my Garmin Forerunner 245. It gives me accurate heart rate readings and gives the right kind of data to keep me on track during paced runs.

I have never eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

I just ran a virtual marathon in 3:12, and I think it’s time to start pushing toward a sub-3.
