I feel like running has made me a happier person. I used to be really overweight. In 2013 I started exercising (no running) and getting fitter. I didn’t start running until about 2015, and I did it so I could eventually get a husky and run with it. But I fell in LOVE with the freedom of running. I still do weights and circuit training which is how I lost my weight, but running provides freedom.

I really wanted to get a lot of the online articles, and I saw the really reasonable price for the membership and thought it was a great one.

I run first thing in the morning often on Queensboro bridge because it’s in my hood, and I was training for the New York City Marathon. I hate it, partly because the running part is tight, but I love it because it’s such a great feeling when you get to go downhill.

I had these Skechers MaxRoads that they don’t make anymore. They make a good performance shoe, and often get overlooked. I miss those. It was like running on a cloud. So light and airy, and I could run for miles.

A faster time at the marathon! I had to use the loo right after mile 22, and so once I stopped I couldn’t keep going straight running, I had to run and walk the last 4 miles.
