Trader Joe's

Trader Joe’s is beloved for its seasonal delights. Every winter, you can bet good money that crowds will stock up on peppermint bark. In the fall, carts are full with of the grocer's large variety of pumpkin-flavored favors. This time of year, there’s one item we're all primed to see: waiting, (not-so) patiently, to buy them the second we spot them.

Of course, we're talking about the peonies. And the Instagram account @traderjoesobsessed, which over 800,000 dedicated shoppers follow,  just alerted everyone that peony season has officially arrived.

“Did you grab some peonies?? $9.99 for a bunch! They are soooo beautiful! Make sure to keep them in a cool place and cut the stems at a slant,” reads the caption of a post featuring a video of the five-stem bouquet. It already has more than 188,000 likes.

In the comments of the video, plenty of users want to know: “How long do peonies usually last?”

They typically stay fresh for around a week. To get the most out of your peonies, make sure to choose a bouquet with buds that are still closed or just starting to open—this ensures you get to display the flower for its full cycle. Check that the stems are healthy, firm, and bright. Once you get home, practice good floral care by cutting an inch off the stems at a 45-degree angle, arranging them in a clean vase, and displaying them in a cool environment away from windows with direct sunlight.

All the other comments on the post convey pure excitement that they've made their return.

“Eek! Can’t wait!” one commenter wrote.

“I grabbed some and made a bouquet for my office, they smell delightful!!!” another said.

What Else Is Back at Trader Joe's

And that’s not the only thing back at Trader Joe’s for the season: @traderjoesobsessed also spotted that the Brazil Nut Spa line has been restocked. The account noticed the items on shelves in Pasadena, California, which included an insulated bag with Brazil Nut Spa body wash, body scrub, and body butter.

One commenter said there was a limit of four items per person when they went shopping for their body care, and the rest were either elated to see the items return or patiently waiting for their local store to catch up.

“Omg i’m gonna clear the shelf!!!” one user said.

It’s unclear if the Brazil Nut Spa items are back in every store now, but one thing's for sure: If you’re in the market for blooms or body butter, you definitely want to stop by Trader Joe’s.
