McDonald’s Just Released A New McFlurry Flavor

Something cool is coming to McDonald's soon, and it will be here before you know it. According to Snackolator, an Instagram account covering treats, McDonald's is releasing a new Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry next month on August 9!

If you live in California, the Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry may sound familiar, given that parts of the state served as a test market for the frozen treat.

"This McFlurry was tested in California markets last year and features vanilla ice cream blended with a crispy cereal mix and chocolatey peanut butter cookie pieces. The reviews that I read were very positive and a lot of comparisons to a Reese's flavor and that alone has sold me on needing to give this a try!" @Snackolator shared in their Instagram caption.

As expected, peanut butter lovers sounded off in the comments section of @Snackolator's earlier post about the rumored McFlurry and expressed their excitement.

"This should go over very well - peanut butter is always fantastic! lol," one person wrote.

"I hope this is true. Peanut butter makes everything better," another added.

Other fans said it reminds them of the dearly departed Reese's Peanut Butter Cup McFlurry, which was discontinued in 2012.

News of a rumored McFlurry addition comes shortly after McDonald's confirmed that it will in fact be adding the new Cheesy Jalapeño Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese to its menu. And if you ask us, the Peanut Butter Crunch McFlurry sounds like the perfect way to cool down after enjoying the spicy burger.
