Rumor has it that Oreo will be releasing these two new flavors and we are wowed

After recently trying the Birthday Cake Oreos, this author can personally attest to the deliciousness of Oreos with special-flavorings. So, Oreo releasing two new flavors this summer is a cause for celebration. This information comes on the heels of Peep-flavored Oreos being made available, so it’s almost too much to handle. But in the name of cookies, we shall persevere!

The Junk Food Aisle has stated that Firework Oreos are being released this summer (perfect for Fourth of July, obvi) and now another source — Candy Aisle — is reporting that two other crazy flavors should be coming soon.

Allegedly, the two other limited edition flavors will be: Mississippi Mud Pie …

… and Waffles and Syrup.

(Do you think this waffle flavor will now make it acceptable to have Oreos for breakfast?? Because waffles, syrup, and milk sure sounds like a full-balanced breakfast to us.)

Before you get too excited though, keep in mind that these reports are from the unofficial source Candy Hunting and the Oreo brand has not announced these flavors to be definitely happening as of yet.

But considering how many wacky and unorthodox flavors Oreo has released in the past, we wouldn’t be too surprised if these limited edition beauties were available in your local store’s cookie aisle eventually. That means, you better watch your snack intake now, because you’re going to want to indulge in Mississippi Mud Pie and Waffles and Syrup Oreos later.
