Rumer Willis Snuggles Baby Louetta in Sweet New Photos — But the Internet Is Distracted By This One Thing

Rumer Willis recently shared pictures of herself enjoying some snugs with her 7-month-old baby Louetta “Lou” Isley. And while the sweet, sleepy infant looked unbelievably cute curled up with her mama, people couldn’t help but notice something else in one of the photos.

In the first picture posted to Instagram, the Sorority Row actress is lying down on a fuzzy pink chair. Lou is wearing a matching pink sweater set, sound asleep in her mama’s arms. Slide to photo two to see Lou awake. Willis is smiling at her daughter as she holds her up in the air, Lion King style. The photo itself is precious — but everyone is talking about what’s hanging up on the wall behind the mother-daughter duo. There is a framed, black-and-white photograph hanging on the wall of Willis as a little girl, walking in the sand on the beach toward her dad Bruce Willis’s outstretched arms. Seeing that throwback photo, with Willis holding her own daughter in her arms right in front of it, is just so heartwarming.

“Finding quiet moments with my girl is my favorite part of the day. I know how fast this time goes and I love any chance I get to snuggle up with her,” the model captioned the post.

“That picture of you and your dad 🥺❤️,” one person commented. Another said, “I love this shot! And with that background pic😍😍😍😍”

Someone else wrote, “I think we all admire the beautiful picture in the background.” It’s impossible not to!

Earlier this year, Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis developed into frontotemporal dementia, which has left him largely nonverbal. Willis, who shares baby Lou with partner Derek Richard Thomas, and the rest of her family are doing their best to stay positive. The House Bunny actress recently shared that her daughter has one trait in common with the Die Hard star.

“Whenever she’s got a stern discerning look on her face, I just see Bruce Willis,” Willis told PEOPLE. “My dad — especially on [TV series] Moonlighting — has this little side smirk, that very [mischievous] twinkle in his eye, and I see that so much in her.” What a beautiful gift!

She added that her daughter “is truly the joy of my life and my little best friend, and I’ve never had anything happen to me that’s brought me greater joy.”
