Rumer Willis Shares Raw Pics, Emotional Message About 'Precious' Moments With Dad Bruce

Rumer Willis is kicking off 2024 by looking ahead—but not before doing some  reflecting on the past year.

In a new, all-encompassing social media post where she discussed sobriety, motherhood, and healing journey, among other things, the Empire alum made a sweet reference to spending "precious, love filled moments" with her dad, Bruce Willis, amid his health battle with frontotemporal dementia.

"Finding my way back to myself," the 35-year-old opened the lengthy Instagram message.

She continued the note—which was shared on Friday, Jan. 5, alongside a duo of raw snapshots of herself in a bath tub as sunlight poured in through a nearby window—mentioning her first pregnancy, unmedicated birth, and postpartum journeys, spending time with family, learning about "real intimacy," and "working on being the most honest authentic version of myself; healing my trauma so I don’t pass it on to my daughter."

The mom of one also celebrated herself for marking seven years of sobriety.

Among all the hobbies she took up, and accomplishments the actress-singer marked off in 2023, she additionally pointed out that she "loved myself more than I ever have, felt more beautiful and comfortable in my skin than I ever have, laughed, cried, fought, primal screamed, taken ownership, met new friends, wrote lullaby’s with my daughters dad, shared moments of wonder at the tiny being who chose us."

And, of course, the "Toxic" songstress didn't leave out the rest of the Willis crew in her recollection of the last 12 months: "Spent precious love filled moments with my Daddio, learned from my mama, celebrated my first Mother’s Day and found strength in myself I didn’t know existed and watched my daughter grow in front of my eyes."

"I don’t know what this next year will bring but man I can’t wait to see what’s next," she concluded.

Fans and followers in the comments section applauded the raw content.
