Ruby Rose Dyed Her New Buzz Cut Half Blue and Half Pink

It's been only a week since Ruby Rose shaved off her already-short hair into a barely-there buzz cut with one longer piece left in the front — definitely one of the more dramatic celebrity hair makeovers during quarantine — but she has already made an even bolder change to her look.

Several celebrities have decided to dye their hair fun colors — Hilary Duff, for example, dyed her hair blue, and a handful of stars have gone pink — but Rose simply couldn't decide between the two shades. The actor shared several photos to Instagram showing that she dyed the left half of her buzz cut blue and the right half pink.

"What can I say!?" she wrote in the caption of the multi-photo post that revealed her new look. "Sometimes you just need to feel blue and other times you need pink to lighten your day."

The piece she'd previously left a little longer ended up blue, and — as if the two-tone buzz cut weren't fun enough — she even pinned it to what's left of her hair with red and orange butterfly clips.

This is far from the first time that Rose has dyed her hair a whimsical color. In 2016, she dyed her hair magenta, and in 2015, she said, "I've had black, blue, red, green, purple, white, and gray hair." Inevitably, she'll have another hair color soon, whether she dyes over the pink-and-blue combo for a role or she just shaves it off to start from scratch. But in the meantime, this two-tone look definitely serves as inspiration for some creative at-home hair makeovers.
