  • This past Wednesday, Queen Camilla was photographed greeting well-wishers during her solo trip to Swindon. The royal family shared a striking photo of the queen taken at the outing on Instagram, which showed the royal (fully in focus) shaking hands with a fan.

  • During the public appearance, the queen sported mismatched earrings along with a tan brushed coat with a Vintage Alhambra 5 Motifs 18-carat yellow gold and agate bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels.

  • When King Charles ascended the throne, he openly admitted that he wanted to have a slimmed-down monarchy. On this week’s episode of the Royally Obsessed podcast, hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discuss (with a special guest!) the state of the monarchy given the king and his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton’s recent health issues.

  • In an excerpt taken from royal author Robert Hardman’s new book, The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy (which just hit store shelves on January 18), he talks about how the queen’s family would often call her “Lorraine,” which is meant to be a play on “La Reine” in French which stands for “Queen.” However, the king disliked the moniker.

  • The queen met with staff and survivors at Refuge Charity’s Gaia Centre in South London and wrote a heartfelt message to the violence and abuse victims.

  • The king and queen sent a special audio message to those celebrating Burns Night, a Scottish holiday, on the royal family’s Instagram page.
