With her adorable smile and loving personality, it's no wonder Princess Charlotte holds a special place in the heart of the nation. It should come as no surprise then that an unseen clip of the young royal during a Platinum Jubilee meet-and-greet has prompted fans to all say the same thing, pointing out the Princess' incredibly sweet reaction to meeting members of the public.

To recap, at the start of June the Cambridge family headed to Cardiff as part of the festivities to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. As they toured around Cardiff Castle, Prince William, Duchess Kate, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were greeted by crowds of excited royal fans, with many asking the royals for a handshake and a selfie.

In the unseen clip – that was posted to TikTok with the caption: "What a lovely moment" – the family make their way through the crowds with Prince William and Prince George leading the way. With two future Kings in tow, it seems that Princess Charlotte wasn't expecting much attention to be directed towards her, which is why she's pleasantly surprised when one royal fan reaches out their hand for her to shake.

"She looked so happy to be asked," one TikToker commented on the clip, noting how the seven-year-old's face lights up when she's greeted by the fan. "Charlotte was definitely thinking she wasn’t going to get any handshakes, I bet you surprised her," said a second person.

"Oh bless her, she was so happy to shake hands, she's such a natural!" another royal fan commented on the video, as someone else added: "She was so happy that someone asked her!"

But this wasn't the only sweet moment of Charlotte's that royal fans spotted over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. In fact, during the Royal Family's final appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Charlotte gave her great-grandmother the Queen a look of caring concern.

"Charlotte stood to attention and sang the anthem as confidently as Louis beside her but she again showed her empathetic, caring side," body language expert Judi James told The Mirror of the moment in question. The expert continued: "She seems to have inherited the trait from Kate, who stroked Louis constantly to keep him happy and who bent down to his height to talk to him once he had taken his place in the line-up."
