Royal Family Family Shares Striking Photo of King Charles and Sister Princess Anne for Her 73rd Birthday

In honor of his sister Princess Anne’s 73rd birthday, King Charles, 74, shared two striking photos for royal admirers to enjoy.

Just a few hours ago, the royal fam posted not one, but two pictures of the monarch and his little sister on her special day on the official royal family Instagram account. The first picture was taken on the day of the king’s coronation ceremony earlier this year, and the brother-sister duo can be seen sharing a laugh while standing inside Buckingham Palace in their royal attire.

But, the pics didn’t stop there. The royals also shared an extremely rare photo of the siblings as young royals, which was snapped at Clarence House in July 1951.

In the black-and-white portrait, a much smaller Charles is holding his sister’s hand while they are both sitting in bassinets. And from the throwback photo, it’s apparent the pair had a close-knit bond even back then.

The caption read: “Wishing Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal a very Happy Birthday today!”

The king isn’t the only royal family member to wish the Princess Royal a happy birthday. Earlier today, the princess’s younger brother, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie dedicated a special tribute to the royal by sharing an Instagram photo of all three of them attending the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, which took place in June 2022.

In the caption, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh wrote, “Wishing The Princess Royal a very Happy Birthday today!” alongside birthday themes emojis.
