Royal Author Says Prince Harry Called In Divorce Lawyers 'Months Ago'

Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only ones with a less-than-perfect marriage (if we are to believe the reports) as Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, could very well be divorcing. According to the latest rumors, the Duke of Sussex “called in the lawyers some months ago” to try and come up with the best plan should he and Meghan go their separate ways. Yikes!

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Divorce Rumors

The latest rumors came from British Jamaican author, socialite, and television personality Lady Campbell, i.e., Lady C, who told Dan Wootton on GB News that her information came from at least five separate insiders…

"There have been problems in the marriage supposedly for some time," Lady C said. "I mean, I have heard from five totally reliable sources that Harry called in the lawyers some months ago," she continued, before going on to say: "The problem is that the information doesn't necessarily match up with their public face. But of course, their public face is to an extent slapped on for monetary gain."

This wouldn’t be the most far-fetched thing, either, as we recently reported that Kate Middleton is forced to put on a brave face despite the royal rift between her husband Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry, affecting her.

Lady C continued: "And also if there are real problems in the marriage, which there do appear to be, Harry's going to have a heck of a time extricating himself, because he has been very overt about all of his failings and all of his drug-taking."

Could this be the *real* reason Prince Harry visited the U.K. for King Charles' coronation on May 6th on his own? Could he have just wanted space from his wife all along? We guess it’s plausible, especially if there is any truth in the recent rumors that they are leading separate lives, as well as the rumors that Prince Harry has been spending some alone time at two hotels.

He reportedly has checked into a chain hotel near the home he, Meghan, and their two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, almost 2, share in Montecito, as well as San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles which is near where he attends a gym class called Barry's Bootcamp.

However, despite the rumors, Lady C then almost went back on herself, and confessed that her sources might not actually be the most accurate, and we should essentially take everything with a grain of salt.

"He's not in a very good position legally in terms of preserving his position, especially in terms of custody of the children, but I don't, I don't know that it's got to that stage yet," she continued, adding, "And you also have to be very careful what you believe, because anything coming from Montecito can very easily be a lie."

Princess Diana's Former Butler Speaks Out

The late Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, also had a lot to say about the split rumors, telling GB News: "Am I the only person in the UK that is thinking, 'Has Harry finally woken up to the truth?' Has he finally seen the truth of what his wife is doing and that he's been brainwashed and mesmerized by her beauty or something, because we all know that but he doesn't seem to see it."

He added: "I personally know Harry and I think he's always wanted to be a father, he's always wanted children, I think this element of splitting from his family right now is a little premature, I think he would want to stay in that driving seat to watch his children grow because if he left this relationship now he'd lose his children because she'd keep them in America and he wouldn't see them."

Another Author Says Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Not Divorce: 'Their Marriage Is Their Power'

On the contrary, British journalist and author Petronella Wyatt penned an interesting piece in The Telegraph, essentially suggesting that the Sussexes will never divorce as "their marriage is their power."

"Expedience has held more relationships together than that crazy thing called love," she wrote in her piece published on May 30th. "Harry and Meghan may be one-trick ponies but I doubt they will ever consciously uncouple," she said, adding, "According to friends of mine in LA who know Harry and Meghan socially, their dependence on each other is similar and due seemingly to some inner lack in themselves." She added: "Together, the Sussexes are a phenomenon, inescapably visible, if increasingly hard to explain." She also said further down: "There is something almost heroic in the way they have held their perilous ground, disdaining all compromise, unmoved by their vociferous critics. They have faced every conceivable form of attack that rational people are capable of mounting and yet they have scarcely budged an inch."
