Spring is in the air, and the most beautiful baby blue flowers are currently blooming in their full glory on the coast of Japan in Hitachi Seaside Park, located about two hours from the city of Tokyo. The views are breathtaking, and the spectacle is causing quite the influx of tourists from far and wide.

Beautiful pale blue nemophila flowers cover the coastal hill-their nickname happens to be "baby blue eyes"-in the seaside park, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean in the city of Hitachinaka. The park has an enormous garden filled with flowers that change throughout the seasons, from tulips to poppies to roses, and even ice roses in the winter. The park also includes a ferris wheel that stands 100 feet above sea level, giving you panoramic views of the blue flowers, the blue ocean, and the blue skies above.

Nemophila flowers are actually native to North America and won't hurt other plants in your garden if you decide to plant them. They're also great flowers to plant in pots and can also be grown as hanging plants.

Along with the bright baby blue eyes taking over the enormous rolling hills, Hitachi Seaside Park also has a ton of colorful narcissus and tulips in bloom this spring, giving you all of the Instagram opportunities you'll ever want. What are you waiting for? Book a trip, and don't forget your camera!
