Ross Dress for Less Grows Retail Presence With 97 New Locations in 2023

Ross Dress for Less is expanding its retail footprint in 2023.

The off-price retailer, which offers fashion, footwear, home goods and more products at reduced prices, has grown with 43 new stores and eight DD’s Discounts stores in September and October. That growth has resulted in the brand now closing the year with a total of 97 new locations in 2023, totaling 2,112 combined locations in the United States, the District of Columbia and Guam.

“This fall, we continued to expand our presence in both existing and newer markets,” said Ross Stores, Inc.’s group executive Vice President of property development Gregg McGillis in a statement. “At Ross Dress for Less, we opened our first stores in the states of New York and Minnesota while DD’s grew its footprint in California, Maryland, Tennessee, and Texas.”

Ross Dress for Less specializes in selling off-priced fashion, accessories and footwear for women, men and children, as well as a wide array of furniture, fixtures and various home goods — all retailing for 20 to 60 percent off their original department and specialty store prices. The in-season retailer features a wide array of products from name-brand labels, as well, including Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole and Betsey Johnson.
