Ross Butler and Noah Centineo Dress as Wolverine and Gaston for Halloween 2018

Name a more iconic duo, I'll wait.

Halloweekend is in full swing and celebs are not messing around this year. And Ross Butler and Noah Centineo just teamed up to bring us all the costumed duo we didn’t know we needed: Wolverine and Gaston.

The 13 Reasons Why star took to Instagram on Saturday, October 27, to share a video of himself and Noah in full costume, dancing at a Halloween party. “When Wolverine and Gaston tell you to move, you do whatever you want because you're strong and independent,” Ross wrote alongside the clip.

In the short video, Ross is wearing the classic blue and yellow suit of the iconic X-Men character, complete with silver claws and fangs, naturally. Next to him, busting out some serious dance moves, is Noah, clad in the red and yellow regal shirt you might conjure up when thinking about the arrogant Beauty and the Beast villain. His costume is even complete with chest padding (because, you know, Gaston is “roughly the size of a barge” of course).

Despite the fact that these two costumes are surprisingly color-coordinated side by side, I…have some questions. Is there a universe in which Wolverine and Gaston are friends? Frenemies? Dance-off rivals at least? (Probably not, but it’s safe to say their costumes definitely gave fanfiction writers some ideas.) Additionally, does Noah’s costume mean he’s not dressing as Spider-Man this year? Tom Holland, are you out there?

Nevertheless, it seems as though Ross and Noah’s fans were pretty satisfied with the pair’s outfits. “My two faves!” one person wrote on Instagram, while another fan commented: “Just when I thought life couldn't get any better.” One thing is for sure; we’re going to need more from this iconic duo — including several dozen additional dancing videos — immediately.
