Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Peach Makeup Is a Summertime Palate Cleanser

Sometimes thoughtful subtlety packs an even bigger punch than over-the-top glamour. In a moment when saturated eyeshadow and applications of glitter are akin to aesthetic siren songs (thanks, Eurphoria!), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is serving as proof positive that a pared-back, yet pulled-together look can be equal in its double-take-inducing power.

RHW stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday in graphic black shades that may have obscured her gaze, but served to pull further focus to lips and cheeks doused in a crisp, pastel peach that echoed the hue of her skin-skimming top. In keeping with the prettily polished theme, the model wore her golden blonde strands ironed pin-straight, spilling over her shoulders with a sharp middle part. A simple silver beaded necklace finished the refined moment, which left onlookers wondering which is better: An objectively high-impact lean or one that is striking in its simplicity? The good news? There's no need to choose.
