Rosanna Arquette Was 'Shook Up' After Crashing Car Into Shopping Center: Police

Police have confirmed that Rosanna Arquette crashed her car into Malibu's Point Dume Village shopping center on Tuesday, July 11.

Los Angeles Fire Station 71 Captain Mike Rivera shared details while speaking to The Malibu Times, explaining that "around 9:45 a.m. a vehicle that was attempting to park, it was unknown exactly what happened, but instead of backing out, it went forward, and took out three pillars that support the roof, luckily no one was injured, we had two tables nearby but luckily no one was sitting there."

Arquette was taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary measures, despite not having any visible injuries. "She was a little shook up about what happened," noted Rivera.

The fire station captain also said that the shops near the scene closed for between three to five hours, as they waited for engineering to "come deem the building safe and make sure it's safe [to be there]."

The publication also shared a video of the crash, showing the Pulp Fiction star's damaged blue BMW parked against a broken pillar of Latin restaurant Lily's Malibu.

Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Deputy Navarro also shared insight into the accident with Fox News, stating that it appears Arquette "had possibly lost control of her vehicle." He also shared that "at the time of the incident, it did not appear that she had any injuries." It was additionally confirmed that there was no indication of impairment due to drugs or alcohol.

Arquette has yet to release a statement on the incident.
