Rosamund Pike favored florals on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, opting for a tea-length Dior creation featuring botanical lace.

Pike’s ensemble included a structured skirt with netting along the sleeves and neckline. The dress debuted on the runway during Dior’s fall 2019 couture presentation in Paris. Philip Treacy provided the “Saltburn” star with a matching veiled headpiece. Pike also accessorized with a pair of open-toe platform heels.

Pike was styled by Leith Clark, who is also known for dressing Natasha Lyonne, Gugu Mbatha Raw and Brit Marling.

Makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis used Dior cosmetics to give Pike a pop of peach eye shadow and a nude lip. Meanwhile, hairdresser Davide Barbieri styled Pike’s blond mane in a sleek updo.

Speaking to WWD, Pike explained why she decided to add a Philip Treacy headpiece to her look. “It was partly inspired when I had a skiing accident on December 26th,” she told host Jeannie Mai and WWD’s West Coast executive editor, Booth Moore. “I did some freestyle on my chin and I thought, ‘Oh dear, that’s really not a good look for the Golden Globes in under two weeks.’ I’ve completely took the skin off my chin, so I needed to kind of think creatively about how to approach red carpet dressing.”

Pike is nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Motion Picture for her role in Emerald Fennell’s thriller, “Saltburn.” Pike previously received Golden Globe nominations for “Gone Girl,” “I Care A Lot” and “A Private War.”

Last year, Pike fronted the campaign for Dior’s Lady 95.22. The quilted purse, unveiled during Dior’s fall 2022 show, is a modernized take on the iconic Lady Dior bag, which was named after Princess Diana. Its moniker references the years 1995, when the Lady Dior was created, and 2022, when its reinterpretation was revealed. Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Blackpink’s Jisoo and tennis player Emma Raducanu also posed for the 2023 campaign.

The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrate the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent company Penske Media Corp. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD hosted its first real-time red carpet digital show, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals. On Monday, WWD will reveal the winners of its Style Awards during the red carpet recap on wwd.com/golden-globes at 10 a.m. ET.
