Rosalía Wore a Monobrow in Her New Music Video for the Song “A Palé”

In the video, the musician sports a full monobrow, gold teeth, red lips, and super long pale nails.

Singer Rosalía has officially announced that the monobrow is in. In her new music video for the song "A Palé," the musician sports a full monobrow along with gold teeth, red lips, and super long pale nails. Dazed Beauty pointed out that she's rocking a Frida Kahlo vibe, and we are feeling it.

The video opens with Rosalía singing in the darkness, lit by a single light. Her hair is parted in the middle, and her cheeks are flushed. She's wearing a high-necked white gown tied with a red ribbon, very reminiscent of Kahlo's signature style, and soon the dreamy vibes of the opening lines give way to percussive beats and Rosalía shifts into her lower register and changes into a jumpsuit and sneakers with pigtails. While she changes clothes a few times throughout the video, the monobrow stays a focal point of her beauty look.

This isn't the first time the singer has expressed herself via beauty in a music video. She's become a style icon since blowing up with songs like "Aute Cuture" and "Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi," and her Instagram is full of 'fit pics and beauty moments, including one where she wears the Louis Vuitton logo painted on her face. The "Aute Cuture" video is all about beauty and takes place in a nail salon, an ode to Rosalía's signature glam manicures. "The only thing I admit I can’t do with my long nails done is trying to get my card out of the ATM,” she told The Fader at the time. At the 2019 MTV VMAs, she slayed the stage in a blinged-out corset look and super-high ponytail and killed it on the red carpet in a Burberry gown. It's Rosalía's world, and we're happy to be living in it.
