Blackpink has the kind of star power that makes any viewer a fan. And it's worked. The South Korean girl group is a global sensation that brings its fanbase of 37 million Instagram followers and 60.2 million Youtube subscribers to its knees. Beyond their catchy pop tunes, its their style that fans often cling to. Clad in a high-low mix of designer brands, streetwear silhouettes, and an endless supply of hot pants, the four members have become fashion icons, each claiming their own share of fashion sponsorships. As of today, they can count one more: Rosé is now the global ambassador for Tiffany & Co.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, her relationship with the famed jeweler is a natural one. Hair bleached, often blushed, Rosé is the member winning over the viewers while sweetly playing guitar in the middle of the night in Netflix' Light Up the Sky. Her side hustle as a solo artist bore even more independent creativity, and despite already being beloved by fans, we assume her sartorial career is about to explode.

“I’ve always loved wearing Tiffany jewelry. To be part of an iconic brand that has been part of my life for a long time makes it that much more special to me,” Rosé said in a statement. “I am very honored and excited to be a part of the HardWear campaign and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”

To mark the debut, Rosé is fronting Tiffany's new campaign for its HardWear line, a collection inspired by an archived bracelet from 1971, marked by gilded gauge links and industrial shapes. Rosé joins fellow faces of the brand Lupita Nyong’o, Elle Fanning, and musician Jackson Yee.

Below, Rosé exclusively shared her favorite city in the world and her earliest Tiffany memory with ELLE.com.

When did you receive your first piece of Tiffany jewelry?

In my memory, I think it was some white gold earrings in the classic Tiffany charm shape that my mum got me when I pierced my ears for the first time in 7th grade.

Who or what has made you feel empowered recently?

Standing up for my own opinions and trusting in them. Even if it’s for the smallest things.

What is your favorite city and why?

My favorite city has got to be New York City. When I visited New York for the first time, I was absolutely starstruck and blown away at all the tall buildings and busy streets. I hadn’t noticed that all of my favorite movies were based in New York until I was right there. It was the city that I had fallen in love with within the movies. And I love how the HardWear collection is inspired by the attitude of modern cities. As a city-lover myself, I couldn’t explain a better reason as to why I instantly fell in love with the hardware collection and its mesmerizing shapes.
