Jenna Dewan knows how to keep people talking — both with her blossoming role on The Rookie and with her fiery outfits on the red carpet.

Last fall, in November 2021, the ABC actress turned heads when she sizzled in an off-the-shoulder dress at a special gala. The 41-year-old star wore a floral printed satin gown in pastel colors that featured a sweetheart neckline. Jenna accessorized the look with gold heels and jeweled drop earrings. To finish it off, she put on a pink lip and curled her hair into a deep side part.

After the Step Up alum shared her sultry look on Instagram, The Rookie fans couldn't stop themselves from gushing.

"Jenna you look absolutely exquisite," wrote someone in the comments section. "That dress is amazing!!! 🔥," said a different person. "Always vibrant, funny, and beautiful! ❤️," added a follower.

Her glamorous look is a stark contrast to the outfits she wears in season 5 of The Rookie, where she plays firefighter Bailey Nune. This past week, her character found herself trapped in a metal tank that was rigged to fill up with water, thanks to serial killer Rosalind Dyer.

In the end, Bailey narrowly escaped drowning thanks to help from Officers John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), Tim Bradford (Erin Winter), Lucy Chen (Melissa O'Neil) and Celina Juarez (Lisseth Chavez).

Based on reactions from Bailey's close brush with death, it seems fans would prefer the drama be over her stunning red carpet outfits rather than in the plotlines of her on-screen counterpart. That said, when she wasn't busy capturing everyone's attention at a Hollywood event like this one or telling compelling stories on the small screen as a first responder, it turns out she was working on her dancing skills for her new Lifetime movie Let's Get Physical.
